I've been wondering about something for a while now: does masturbating actually increase my bone mass? I've seen people online make all kinds of claims about masturbation affecting hormones, testosterone, muscle growth, bone density, and even overall physical development. Some people say it makes your bones weaker, while others claim avoiding it can somehow make your skeleton stronger. It's honestly confusing because there are so many conflicting opinions.

From what I've been trying to figure out, bone mass mainly depends on things like genetics, nutrition, regular exercise (especially weight-bearing exercise), hormones that stay within healthy ranges over time, and getting enough calcium, vitamin D, protein, and sleep. Masturbation, on the other hand, is just a normal biological activity. Even though hormone levels can fluctuate briefly, I can't find any solid scientific evidence showing that masturbating increases bone mass or decreases it in any meaningful way.

I guess what I'm really trying to understand is why this myth is so common. Is it because people misunderstand how testosterone works? Does a temporary hormonal change actually matter, or is it too small and too short-lived to have any real effect on bone growth? If bone density changes over months or years through diet and exercise, it seems unlikely that masturbation would suddenly make someone's bones bigger or stronger.

So, based on everything I've looked into, it seems the answer is no—masturbating doesn't increase bone mass. If someone wants stronger bones, they're probably better off focusing on resistance training, eating enough calcium and vitamin D, getting sufficient protein, staying physically active, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle rather than worrying about masturbation.

I'm still interested if anyone knows of high-quality scientific studies that suggest otherwise, but so far I haven't found convincing evidence that masturbation has any significant effect on bone mass.

You will lose minerals with your cum, so wouldn't advice gooning for bonemass

None of this shit even matters, nothing matters at all

Harmony is 100% luck, your genetics determine everything, epigenetics (your environment, nutrition, habits) don't matter at all

These people that you see here lived practically the same shitty, lowly lives, yet the results are completely different

Keeping your dick in your pants for 6 months won't make any changes physically, maybe mentally

Mark as solution

Once every two weeks will keep your testosterone more or less stable. If you replenish the minerals you lose like zinc by supplementing or eating foods rich in those nutrients and minerals then you can probably reduce that issue pretty easily. Ejaculation causes a spike in DHT though so if you do it too often it could potentially cause eventual balding and growth plate closure.
