I have seen alot of examples of someone actualy not gaining anything from mse, one guy on tiktok showed x raw of his skull before and after mse and it only expanded his airways and made his nasal bone wider. And also you have to wear braces bc you get a hole in your front teeth, so does the braces actualy make your face even worse? I have a really narrow pallate and crowding teeth idk what should i do.

Should get you some cheeckbones Gaines if you don't go for the surgical option called SARPE

Also it usually done before a double jaw surgery so you might do it as well if you want more complete results

if your cheekbones arent promiment and your fwhr is cooked id recommend getting it, but costs crazy amount of money with braces

If you have a recession what dentist (not a doctor btw) do is recess one of your jaws, either the upper or lower, with the use of braces

This way your teeth are aligned, but you will end up being recessed

So this thing that they do will not actually fix the source of your problems which is an under developed jaw

This can only be fixed with a osteotomy procedure like double j surgery

So if you do: palate expander + braces + double jaw. You will get the best results possible and a guaranteed ascension since botch risks are extremely low

You can also add custom implants if you really wa.t to mog but those are never covered by insurance, and sinc ethey need to be custom down to the plates and screws you are definitely going to spend serious money on those

No, and it can make you look worse.

You want fme or custom marpe to reduce the asymmetry risk.

A large expansion will widen your lip posture at rest, widen your nose and will increase the lateral width of your zygos (which is often not that noticeable as it's a small amount). How good this looks varies a lot but to stack the odds in your favour you need to do everything possible to minimize developing asymmetry because the effects can be devastating.

It usually gets worse. I have done it.
Don’t do it for aesthetics.
