Does MSE really improve looks?

When we talk about maxilla its always about forwarding it via lefort or “thumbpulling” if you are braindead, but mse does not forward it, instead it widens. Do you think widening maxilla should be considered a looskmax or could it even be looksmin?

It depends on your IMW, zygo prominence, how compact is your midface. So it does.
