Does OneDirection-maxxing still work in 2020?

You all know about how in the early 2010s many girls were obsessed with One Direction. Those guys were just high-tier normies (Niall only a regular normie) and some possibly Chadlites — except for Zayn Malik who could be considered a Chad — yet ALL FIVE of them were surrounded by pussy. Does the "One Direction effect" still work these days? If you and your friends start a band (as long as you're all at least 5/10) will it help you get girls?

i know personally, a band that started when they were about 14 or so that gets a lot of girls. they're not famous or good looking either, but they're surrounded by women. i think the effect helps because if someone is shown to have friends they're generally considered better for partner etc.
