Does social isolation cause any permanent damage?

Thought I’d ask as there are a lot of people here who are NEET or rotting

Was thinking of knuckling down and starting a business/studycelling, and spending almost the entire day inside, for maybe the next 6 months at least, just to get it off the ground

Thoughts/experiences?

If there is any permanent damage that might be done by staying inside for too long, how long would it take?

It depends how old you are, if your brain is already mostly developed it might take a while for the isolation to truly have permanent effects

Isolating yourself for too long is always dangerous but 6 months shouldnt be too bad
