Talking from my own experience, i had a crazy growth spurt going from 1,78 to 1,88 when i started drinking a bunch of shitty soda drinks, i was curious because that was my last growth sport (many years ago when i was 15) and both my parents are average/small (dad is 1,81 , mom is 1,61)
