Does the lower jaw expand with the upper with a palate expander

I just went to the ortho and they told me I can start Invisalign soon but I asked about an expander for my brutal narrow palate and they said the lower jaw doesn’t adjust to the upper jaw which I swear I’ve heard it does

Not 100% sure, but I’m sure your maxilla widening or becoming more project full, will cause ur mandible to also grow. Since ur maxilla has an affect or mandible as well
