Does TMJ / TMD affect jaw look?

Anyone else here got TMJ / TMD? Does it affect how the jaw looks? Can it go away by massaging?
 
Its fundamental cause is poor jaw formation from mouth breathing. I have it with the left of my jaw & it's the worse looking side.
