Does wearing sunscreen actually increase collagen or only prevent your skin from aging/getting worse?

Kind of greycel question tbh but I read somewhere here using sunscreen would increase collagen production by 56(or something like that)%
Always thought sunscreen would only be for preventing further damage to your skin, not making your skin actually better?

No, sunscreen makes sure you don't lose collagen because of the sun, you don't get collagen
