my dentist wants me to get my wisdom teeth removed, but i am wondering if that will cause recession

yes, DO NOT get them removed unless 100% needed

It caused it none in me. Got all 4 of them rocks removed from my head at 17 and you see for yourself what I look like 20 years later.
