I have a theory that they developers for the Witcher 3 actually browsed PSL forums. The three main female characters, Yennefer, Triss and Ciri represent that three most important aspects of facial aesthetics. Jaw, Eye Area, and Cheekbones. Not only did the developers know what these features repesnted in physical attraction, but also what personality traits they ascribe.
Look at Triss Merigold
Here eye area is nearly perfect. They are perfectly almond. The coloring is ideal, with the great contrasting a decent amount of pure white. He dense eyelashes outline her eyes. Triss has a 10/10 eye area. The beauty of her area attributes a sense of calm, sweetness, and non-dominance while still maintaining model-tier loos.
Now let's observe Yennefer:
The primary reason for her beauty is her jaw. She has a deep gonia angle and a well-defined jawline that frames her features and inhabits most of the surface area on her face. This demonstrates the importance of the jaw in looks, and also the personality a strong jaw indicates. Yennefer is a steadfast, controlling, determined woman, and her jaw reflects this dominance in a way that tries does not
Now Finally lets observe Ciri
It is clear that Ciri's primary beauty comes from her defined and protruding cheekbones. Here eye are is frauded by eye-shadow and is actually pretty average. Her jaw, while decently defined and protruding, does not create the structure in her face that her cheekbones do. The cheekbones are ciri's face essentially. They indicate a personality of rebelliousness and adventure-seeking.
Ultimately, it is a godsend that the developers of Witcher 3 spent hours lurking on lookism.net to understand the dynamics of facial aesthetics so we could get these uniquely beautiful characters. If they hadn't, we would have likely either gotten a generic face with an oversized ass, or a bunch of reddit waifus with black bob hair and undefined jaws.
My personal ranking for the Witcher 3 Characters would be.
3. Triss
2. Yennefer
1.Ciri
Though they are all 9+
