Dolichocephalic craniums actually have a shorter midface?

Since dolichocephalic craniums are longer and narrower from the front. And given that the midface is narrower compared to a wider cranium (provided ESR is the same). It would make sense that the midface is also shorter to keep the ratio.
And this is what I noticed with my observation too. The longer and narrower a person's cranium is, the lower their ipd. And thus their midface is shorter. But in return, they have a longer lower third.

@Orc is this true? Or am I deluded?

Probably because I use shitty terminology. I don't mean face height divided by bizygomatic width, but forehead height and width.
