I've recently seen a few "success" threads of skinnyfat indians sharing their pitiful gym progress. Poor genetics or not I don't want these kinds of threads to discourage people from going to the gym. I wish I had a better before picture but here is my progress from less than ~2 months lifting naturally. Start lifting.

Did your bone mass in your face increase due to lifting?

Problem with me is i have a good frame and have a home gym, but its so discouraging when you have a metabolism like david laid

What was your caloric surplus
 
in 2 months you can only gain a couple pounds of muscle. which you will only notice if you're a manlet.

I got a v taper and my bideltoid increased significantly, so I look wayyyy better in clothes, but shirtless I look average with barely any definition

Nah now im a 4000kcal Daily (last Pics take 1 week ago), i can eat pizza 3 times a week or more. In cutting i hit a diet

I have only gained 3kg or so. Don't be a hater. It is totally realistic for a beginner to make noticeable gains after 2 months if they train and eat properly from the off.

The thing is I have wide hips which completely ruin the aesthetics, I have made gains in 1.5 years like 7-8 kg of lean mass. I am strong for a 17 year old. I can bench press 100kg for 4 reps, squat:-120 for 7 reps, ohp 60 kg for 6 reps and deadlift 145kg for 6 reps. I am also taller than you, I'm 179 cm. The thing is wide hips ruin everything.
