Long hair is female gaze. Do older people approve of it? No, they call you a faggot for it and want you to get a shorter haircut, sometimes a buzzcut that will destroy your hair appeal to prime women.
Being lean is law. Do older people approve of it? No, especially your mother, grandmother, and other older women who complain that you're too skinny.
Make-up is law. It hides flaws and accentuates halos. I don't even need to elaborate on this one. You know what happens when older people find out you're wearing it.
Maybe a beard isn't suitable to you. But if it depended on older people, you'd be wearing one because they think it's so manly and respectable.
