Don't let the lens distortion jew fool you

If you do not get good photos of you took with a photographer that knows what they're doing, you will not know what you look like accurately. Lens distortion alters up to 30% of perceived nose length alone, making noses look much larger than they really are. Not only that, but it's difference between having a massive forehead and not. The most accurate you can get is a professional photographer. Mirror is kind of close, but you need true mirror to know what you really look like from a mirror perspective. Also don't forget that lighting makes a million percent difference.

if you can't look good in any lens distortion photos, yeah, it's 100% over for you. However though, lens distortion is why you look better in close up videos, because the distortion doesn't focus in on one particular area, which allows more of your true face to be shown. It's also why people look better in motion in general
