So.. i did some research about how to reset youre dopamine receptors in youre brain and i found this:
"Dopamine, unlike other neurotransmitters, plays a crucial role in the brain’s motivation and reward system — and contributes to our survival as a human race.According to the Recovery Research Institute, it takes 14 months of complete abstinence for the dopamine transporter levels (DAT) to return to nearly normal."

After years of rotting, fapping and gaming you pretty much fry the fuck of you're brain. This is why when you were young life seemed so much fun and when you get older it is a fucking dump shit and people get depressed.
Like this is why therapy even exists. We fry our reward system of our brain.

So it takes 14 months of dopamine fasting to get back to normal. Wdyt is it worth it ?

fight
Leo

Chemicals enhance this process. Tbh if you try to do everything naturally instead of cheating the system with science and knowledge your retarded tbh

definitely worth it but no chance you are going to just drop all of that for over a year.

start off easy by quitting fapping and cut down on things that give you instant gratification/dopamine like gaming/music/youtube.

Basically stop doing things that give you pleasure. Like fap, porn, stay too long in bad after wake up,hot shower, eat shitty foods, stay on this fucking site, listen to music.
In short caveman max 14 months and that youre life will be better. Just imaging fapping first tine after doing all of this must feel like taking mdma

Or u can take drugs that will reset dopamine. Called antidepressants

I dont know bro, Chad gets his dopamine receptors flooded all the time, why is he not desensitized?

how have i fried my dopamine receptors if i never experience dopamin, im always sad tbh

Dopaminemax is where it's at. I'll start doing it, just spend 2h a day at the gym, 1h reading, and 1h doing whatever else, maybe playing an instrument or some shit. That's 4h less of internet browsing and procrastinating. With little steps come ascension

Legit. First time I fapped to porn after 6 months felt like I was going to pass out from the pleasure.

I think. It's ONLY necesairy to stop for 14 months the things that one does EXCESSIVELY. Or deminish it alot.

So, I don't think one had to go, towards ZERO rewards system for 14 months. Just on the excessive shit..

In that study they said for example, that with alcohol abstinance, these participants booked gains. I bet they ddn't stop listening to music, or doing some fapping, or whatevers:
Quote: "For example, one study found that adolescents that became abstinent from alcohol had significant recovery with respect to behavioral disinhibition and negative emotionality (Hicks et al., 2012). Lisdahl and colleagues propose that this could mean that some recovery is occurring in the prefrontal cortex after a period of abstinence. Furthermore, other research has found that number of days abstinent from alcohol was associated with improved executive functioning, larger cerebellar volumes, and improved short-term memory."
