Doxycycline Hyclate 100mg

My doctor prescribed me Doxycycline Hyclate 100mg to take twice everday, I have brutal acne/acne scars and was wondering if I should or if I shouldn't take it. Should I just take accutane instead? Which side affects are worse this or accutanes and does Doxycycline Hyclate work or is it just cope. Heard it can also ruin gut microbiome or something.

I would just take accutane, the side effects are worse, but it will give much better results. Doxycycline is just a temporary fix, and once you stop taking it your acne will come back. Accutane usually causes permanent changes

the only thing holding me back is it potentially stunting my growth and having joint pain. I go to the gym frequently and focus on increasing my SBD and wouldn't want accutane to prevent me from doing what I enjoy by causing me joint pain.

Read my other posts on isotretinoin (accutane). Recent unreleased studies suggest that isotretinoin has no negative effect on final adult height.
Joint pain is going to be very minimal unless you take a high dose over sustained periods, which you won't. You can also mitigate that pretty easily.
Doxycycline is shit, don't touch it. Just take isotretinoin.

Just take isotretinoin if you want to fix your acne and don't care for topical treatment.
