This situation with Giant’s delays has gotten so bad that even Burak has had to address it. Beware before trying to book. I’ve spoken with his staff and they are extremely frustrated and angry about the whole situation, which is probably why Burak has started promoting other designers on his Instagram.

Patients have been waiting over 1+ years to get surgery (myself included) because Giant is busy doing who knows what in Thailand. Beware of going to him. Over 30 people are affected so far. I paid over $2000 for the design, and then over $6000 for the production fee once the design was ready, and I still have not received my surgery. He keeps making promises about coming and then delaying again. He also refuses to send the implants to the surgeon as an alternative.

This time he has promised to arrive on March 20th. Do not pay this guy a single cent until he actually upholds his promise. Right now it is starting to look like an elaborate scam. He tries to downplay the situation, and he might have a point if we were talking about a few months of delay .... but this is over a year with no surgeries happening.

No, it does not make any sense to wait over a year. Over 30+ people have been waiting. Most of our designs have been done for a very long time. He's refusing to print them and show up in Turkey. That's all that remains. This is what he keeps delaying.

i was just going to have a couple of facial implants, nothing extensive. i was also considering maybe going back for a bimax, but its safe to say that will not be happening. i know other people waiting have bigger work planned.

The surgery was planned before he became "famous". That should put into perspective how long the delays have been going on for. He was supposed to be done in the same batch as me and the 30 other people waiting. Im not sure if he's going to even have surgery anymore as it does not seem necessary with his current success. I dont follow him or care what he does tbh.

i had surgery with dr burak and during my follow ups i asked him many things because i read this forum a lot. he showed me not only gender affirmation surgeries but also crazy good breast reconstruction and even toe transfer results. honestly i didnt even know plastic surgeons do these things. he told me focusing on only one tiny niche maybe makes surgery a bit faster but it also kills creativity and broader surgical thinking. he talked about surgeons he trained with doing many complex surgeries very well. then he showed me a paper from a surgeon called tisser who is basically the father of craniofacial surgery and he also had publications about breast reduction with insanely good results. so this modern idea that “if you do everything you are bad at everything” honestly feels like a bit of modern nonsense to me after seeing that.
