dry from tret

i get extremely dry from .05 tret and have to moisturize 4-5 times a day. i tried to build up from 3 times a week to every day but this is my first week on it and it’s not going not well… i’ve seen from @Orc that centella works well but i haven’t seen any research saying it works. anyone know what works for them?

I use centella before my moisturizer but I also moisturize like 3 times a day.
