Dude got Bimax for sleep apnea, got chimpmaxxed and no breathing improvement

Poor guy had an harmonious face before, but had MMA to improve his sleep apnea issues, apparently he had an old school straight MMA, 12 upper and lower, now his philtrum has too much fullness and nose got really small. His side profile is destroyed and breathing got worse...

most of the time yes but some patients have a really bad maxilla retrusion and their face can take it

the dude had a steep occlusal plane and didn't got ccw rotation... He rushed the process unfortunately
It's curious that the surgery didn't cure his sleep apnea though

I don't know, OSA is not always directly related to the anatomy of your bones. the obstruction is often caused by soft tissue or neurological factors that have nothing to do with your jaws.

yeah you need to consider the harmony of the outcome rather than just advancing it. shit surgeon tbh, i feel bad for the guy

Very borderline i would say. And generally i think that on women it's less of a drawback than on men

Its more then 6 months post op, thats just how he looks

Above 8-9mm lefort is risky, also he did impaction which isn't ideal and on top of that his midface is short meaning the lefort movement will make the philtrum look more inflated & he also looks to have an underdeveloped mouth area in regards to soft tissue (low lip volume / small mouth width). His cranium is also recessed and he has very low anterior maxillary depth. All of these combined makes the result not very good.

Still doesn't look great but obviously less bad

If anything he was a lefort II candidate

Should have done lefort high cut 12mm. Then he doesnt get the Chimp lipp
