After about two months on dut, the shedding finally stopped and now I am losing no hair. The shed was brutal but it’s over now and I have hope again

At NW2 it hit me like a train I was nw0 like a year ago
I was NW2 for almost 7 years before I started treatment, I also went from NW0~ to NW2 in like 2 years lol, but it stayed frozen since. Now I am on dut 2-3x a week + minoxidil just for hair maintenance and making sure DHT doesn't slowly sabotage my hair or ability to grow length when hairmaxxing. Doesn't always over just because NW2, true balding starts at NW2.5+ I would say. That said true balding also often starts with progressive Norwood so good to be sure to prevent it. 👍 Hair mogs overall as fuck never go bald if you can avoid it. Temple recession is kind of fine but when your center hairline tanks or recede that is bad! Or even worse crown or diffuse thinning.

Edit: Most don't even notice I am NW2 or care because my hair is so extreme.

Yeah nobody would notice cuz I have long curly hair but I would notice and some people have made comments in the wind and I had to take action. I’ll prolly lower my dut frequency eventually when I am happy with my progress

Nice man, good you are long hair pilled. Curly hair is great for length too you get insane volume with it, I have wavy hair but still try to volumemaxx it.

Oh yeah I was also made fun of for early Norwood now most of those guys are balding way more than me. Never make fun of balding or the Norwood reaper might come knocking.

Mcdonalds hairline is worse than crown thinning because it frames your face, crown thinning can be mediated with SMP and fibres

I did not wear that lol did that really affect your hairline?

Nah crown thinning is worst other than diffuse thinning, then everyone thinks you are balding and it looks awful. Even NW3 with thick hair and fully intact thick crown is pretty OK hair at like 40+, that actually passes for having hair. I have also seen on Reddit a dutasteride guy do excellent fringe cope at NW3. I don't have mcdonalds hairline levels of NW thankfully. I would say left temple is NW 1.5 right is NW 2.

My crown was thinning and my girl would always point out my scalp jokingly it was so brutal but now it seems to be filling it thank god. I’m also on minox. My crown was more mentally taxing then my hairline tbh

.5 or 2.5 and were u on fin and min before , and you will probably have another shed i dont think dut stabilizes in your system in 2 months it takes 6 months to a year

I’m on min 2.5, and I’m on 0.5 dust. I was on fin for like a month or two a half a year ago but never was consistent so don’t really count it
