Every time I see a balding man in public I subconsciously get the urge to tell him to hop on dutasteride 🥺

well the person posting that is an actual tranny so thats probably why
Really? lmfao.
Well that sort of invalidates it as he's probably on estradiol, spiro and all kinds of very powerful anti androgens that are much more effective growth stimulants than minox.

i've been on finasteride for years. I do 3mg/week.(3 1mg pills a week). So that's 0.42mg/day net.

Studies showed that 0.2mg/day basically maxes out your DHT reduction:
serum-dht-reduction-from-finasteride.png

So I am doing 0.42mg/day which is still double that. So I think I am doing a good dosage and not doing more than I need to.

I am thinking about switching to dutasteride or adding dutasteride at some point, but for now I think I am cruising just fine on finasteride. I don't notice any hairloss.

Ive been considering getting on Dut lately, can someoje give more insight? I know that side effects are uncommon and usually go away. I need someone to convince me do it

I replied about this today. I’ll link it. You should go for 1mg Fin.

If you don’t notice any loss, then your probably fine to continue Fin, but switching to Dut isn’t a bad idea either.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Dutasteride.

Nah not really. I spoke to him and he uses raw dutasteride powder (which is pretty cheap) and then mix it with MCT Oil to make it bioavailable
Im about to do the same but lower dose

Yes, I have 109 years worth of Dutasteride powder JFL @ 2.5mg a day. Cost me less than 500USD.

Yeah you are right, but it is just messing with the margins essentially. Going from 0.42mg/day to 1mg/day, it's an extra 5% scalp DHT reduction? So you go from say -59% to -64% essentially?

So say I have -59% scalp DHT right now with my 0.42mg finasteride regimen.
I would go to -64% with 1mg/day finasteride. What change would such a small difference even make. going from -59% to -64% is insignificant.
And what would switching to dutasteride add? It's around 80% I think? 80% DHT scalp reduction, I am not exactly sure.

Then the question is what difference it makes to go from -60% scalpDHT to -80% scalpDHT.
I will go bald eventually anyways but doing -80%DHT would give me a few more years compared to -60%DHT?

I guess in the end DHT is just a garbage hormone which needs to be stopped. For now I have an easy source of finasteride so I am sticking to that but I guess ideally you go for dutasteride.

2.5mg is also retarded and needlessly expensive unless you're trying to recover recently lost hair

2.5 is castration tier dose for marginal benefits
If 0.5 doesn’t work u may as well get a transplant

It’s very cheap, but if you are maintaining Fin is enough.
It's $0.74 per 0.5mg pill on alldaychemist. So even from Indian pharmacies, 2.5mg per day is over $1k

My 5mg finasteride pills at 1.25mg per day cost like 50 or 60 a year

80% scalp reduction is when you go for 2.5mg Dut. It only changes serum dht by 4% in comparison to 0.5mg.

It will make a significant difference.

3 studies dut had 44.9%, 58.5%, and 43.7% more gains over fin.

I’ll get the links to the studies if you’d like.

I will go bald eventually anyways
RU could prevent this. The only reason you’d go bald is because obviously not all scalp DHT is suppressed and there’s also scalp testosterone. If you use RU you will take care of any residual DHT at the scalp, as well as any scalp testosterone. So your basically left androgen free at the scalp.

You’re an idiot. 0.5mg vs 2.5mg dut changes serum DHT by 4% LOL. JFL at thinking just because higher dose your going to become a tranny.
