I take 0.5mg dutasteride daily. I used to be on finasteride, I was happy with my results, but I got greedy. Honestly if you can handle dutasteride without side effects, dutasteride mogs. Personally I didn't find any studies about protocols to switch from fin to dut so I did the transition from fin to dut the same day.
