So I’ve had this awful pain in my tooth/mouth that doesn’t go away and you constantly feel for an entire week, making me unable to eat and drink, because it just hurts too much whenever something touches it. Warm drinks, cold drinks. Doesn’t matter. Falling asleep becomes harder due to the constant pain and you wake up throughout the night because of the intense pain. So last Saturday I went to a dentist, got an appointment for 10+ days later. Next week Tuesday. On Wednesday I visited the clinic and I got it scheduled for Monday, and I asked how much it would cost when they will do the procedure on Monday, and I get told it’s just an intake interview, no procedures will happen, they’ll just take photos and discuss what to do and then the next appointment the procedure would take place. WTF! I told the girl behind the counter I’ll just find another place, she says she’ll keep the appointment just in case, I say OK. So then later on I call another dentist clinic and they can see me on Friday, today), I asked if they would be able to help me on the same day, and I get the same answer. Just an intake, no procedures, procedure next appointment. On my family’s suggestion I called up a third clinic, and I got told the same story but at least I could see them on Thursday, yesterday. I went there and the dentist said the same thing, we only do intakes, take pictures…

I'm not sure if your tooth is infected or something else, if it is then get antibiotics too, because it removes the infection temporarily (eventually you have to get the root canal though). Root canal costed about $700

That’s why my join date is from 25 Oct 2018 instead of Aug 2018 because I was too busy with college at the time to care for forums. But I dropped out after 6 months, because they were dissolving my class, and I already liked my classmates so it killed my motivation at the time. I was 22 at the time.

And coming to what I said about the iq difference between the top3 skls and avg skl, the grads from the top3 choose to go study medicine and hence why med skl here is very competitive and also why our medical personnel are high quality

It makes sense that this was the most painful injury you ever had, and why this was the second-most painful injury I ever had. Because it’s nerve damage. The worst pain I felt was also from nerve damage, though it wasn’t dental nerve damage, it was facial nerve damage. Worst shit ever. Anyway, yes, my tooth was infected, the dentist at the third clinic said the nerves are dead. He cared a lot, he said he would help me get rid of the pain. I’ve been pain-free for over 24 hours now. God bless him. Without him, I’d still be hurting as bad. My next appointment is in two weeks. I would’ve definitely been using opioids if he hadn’t helped me. I already canceled my appointment with the second dental clinic and I will also cancel my appointment with the first dental clinic. I found my go-to place.

It’s the same way in my country as well, the medical profession is a respectable one. I still don’t register it as a high-quality stuff though since it’s a third world country (talking about my own, not Thailand). Education in Asia in general tends to be very competitive.
