What's your hair lenght now?
When I had almost that exact lenght my hair curled like this but with longer hair it doesn't.

To curlmax I used saltwater after a bath and let it air dry without combing which helped alot.

Blonde hair is fine if you're eyebrows and lashes aren't translucent.

If you change hair color dye eyebrow and lashes a shade darker than hair.
