I’m getting elastics to fix my deepbite, will this recess my maxilla? I’m did research but getting no straight answers.

well yeah because thats the only way elastics can 'fix' the bite, it pulls back the aleovar process of the maxilla

Doesn’t it bring tho lower jaw forward instead of the upper jaw backwards
