In the BLM protests for example, the protestors are seen as the good guys whilst the police/state are the bad guys. The reason being is that its the government fault because they refused to have change, eg: change police laws... at least this is the normie view of it.

Same principle should be put for Elliot. Elliot when ER because women kept rejecting him, therefore, its womens fault because they refused to change; give him a chance.

Most of the bad guys aren’t seen as bad guys once you see through them but ER was so mentally fragile he had to endanger lives and murder few innocents just so that he could take more with him, the victims on the other hand had nothing to do with anything.
