Anyone know anything about this? Need forum autists to check it out and see if it's worth looking into. I'm curious how it compares to MSE.

This device is also known as the smile distractor by the surgeon Zarrinbal. MSE and MAROE are superior in my opinion because they both exert a greater force directly into the bicortical layers of the maxilla (as well as the direct insertion into the nasal cavity)... Interesting find tho

EASE supposedly opens up the nasal cavity similar to MSE. This looks similar to MSE actually, and possibly better from my initial glance. I just don't have the expertise on the board like a lot of you do since I'm newer to this stuff.

This procedure involves a horizontal osteotomy and is done under general anaesthesia... expander design doesn’t really matter.

Higher level expansion is possible than MSE. This could be modified to increase Intercanthal distance and would really be more of a Facial Bipartition Distraction Osteogensis although it would require an external distractor but an alternative to Orbital Box for those minor/asthetic/non-syndrome cases.

Cortipuncture can't compare to surgical osteotomy.

Thank you bro, I have spent a while here and never heard about modifications for intercanthal distance and such

if you would make a thread with the literature and talk about how much intercanthal distance can be created, possibly cost and how to get it done, I would very much appreciate it and am sure others would too.
