if you do it at a lower dose like 4mg, most of the bad effects people fear monger already wont happen, and others are manageable with eye drops and sevelamer

abdominal pain can happen too, that gets fixed spasmolytics, thats all the bad effects when youre using 4mg or below, just a moisturizer too but youre prob using that

for "better" options they depend on your money, infig makes u grow slower, but the risks are "lower" (while being at the same price point)
