reducing body fat is one of the hardest softmaxes , but also the most rewarding one
people rarely talk about consistency on this forum, even though it’s literally the foundation of fucking everything, it’s spammed everywhere on youtube.
doing the basic stuff like tracking your progress is essential if you actually want results. forget looksmaxxing for a second, if you can’t be consistent, nothing else matters.
here’s something simple:
then you can start logging your data daily. it makes the process accountable, concrete, and sustainable.
this post isn’t some guide, it’s more like a personal journal. might help some people, might not.
if you’re not seeing results after “doing everything,” you’re probably not consistent enough. remember, you’ve probably done years of damage. (all those chips, pizzas, and sugar bombs wrecked your metabolism.), healing that takes time. like recovering from any disease
i’ve been on my diet for around 3 months now, cheated 2-3 times max. progress is coming slowly, but it’s coming. the action-reaction law always applies. if results aren’t showing despite doing everything, maybe the consistency hasn’t compounded enough.
some new things i’ve added to my personal routine:

here’s something simple:
go to chatgpt and use this prompt
“i want you to create a spreadsheet tracker for tracking my X, convert it into daily, weekly, and monthly goals.”
(replace X with diet, performance, routine, etc.)

some new things i’ve added to my personal routine:
- Carb loading – one day a week i load up on bananas and potatoes to support metabolism. modern bananas are sugary junk, so i eat all of them in one day instead of spiking insulin daily. it’s a poorcel fix (jugaad), ideally you’d get your potassium and fruits from avocados or similar.
- Walking – currently at ~10k steps/day, aiming for 15k. this helps massively long term.
- Fasting – planning a 4–5 day water fast in late december, no food at all, just water and nicotine to get through it.
reducing bodyfat is one of the hardest softmaxes but the most rewarding and high ROI
