The concept of eternal hell is one of the most evil and obscene ideas that man has invented

Not even the most wicked people of all time deserve to be tortured for millions of years, let alone forever. If humans are capable of compassion and mercy, then what stops God from saving those who need it most?

It’s unjust and directly contradicts the notion of a merciful creator

A similar issue exists for infinite paradise. Both afterlives seem out of proportion. Mortal men do not deserve either

Merciful to those who deserve it

The idea of an eternal torment doesn’t sit right with me. I still pray, fast and read the Quran, but I have never received an actual answer to these issues

Maybe one day someone could explain how eternal hellfire is somehow the most merciful thing that God could come up with

Good and evil advance as one, there cannot be one without the other

Yes, if god exists he is definetly not all good or all merciful but rather all arrogant. Because you cant punish finite crimes with infinte punishment and expect us to believe you are all that.

I think eternal hell was created by men as a fear tactic to get people to stay in line and avoid thinking for themselves. It’s really cruel when you think about it

To tell someone that they will burn forever, have boiling water poured down their throats, dragged by chains of fire and be brought back to life, all to repeat this vicious cycle again and again and again, is beyond unjust and evil

How can any sane compassionate human with even an ounce of empathy believe that this is okay, let alone the most merciful?

True fear and judgement traps you in mid vibration so you can never ascend spiritually or emotionally

I’ve found that it’s usually the poor and downtrodden who believe so strongly in faith. The rich and powerful just seem to do whatever they want

Laws, whether religious or secular, feels only apply to the masses, the elites get away with everything

My fav part is when they try to justify it by saying "but saar every religion says that!!" When in reality it's only the two main Abrahamacuck faiths that believe in eternal hell (even Joos of all people don't believe in that)

I've always thought about who can be worthy of such punishment. Closest I can think of are those gooks involved in the infamous Junko Furuta case

You are right, those punishments that Allah claims are indeed beyond everything any sadists has ever thought of. And thats is what scares me the most what if something as powerfull as Allah does exists but isnt a merciful saint rather a vicious sadist that wants all people who didnt believe in his stupid religion to suffer.

I take it as
hell is going away from god
its steering away from what is good
I take it metaphorically
hell is ur conscience knowing you are nowhere
in darkness forever

Even the most evil people to have ever walked the Earth don’t deserve infinite hell because at some point it no longer becomes about justice, but vengeance and suffering

Billions and billions of years, trillions and trillions of years of nothing but eternal suffering (and we haven’t even finished the first second of the first day yet) This is their existence now. Nothing more, nothing less

I believe that in a perfect world, as long as you do good deeds and lead a righteous example, you should be okay

Even if you die, your memory would live on fondly in those around you and people will speak of you with kind words and love

Even if hell contains no fire or boiling water, the point is still the same. Eternal suffering. For finite time

Well it sounds fancy on the surface but deep down i dont think it is very fair either. Because most good people arent even doing something good because they want it to be noble but rather because thats what their brain tells them to do. Or with psychopaths, narcissists and even serial killer arent even the way they are because they want to be remembered as a menace to society but because this what their brain wiring tells them is the most optimal thing to do which was also mostly shaped by their genetics and childhood. Both things you both have no affect on. So that cant be the optimal world either because now you are just rewarding a lucky few who had the right impulses to be seen as good.
