I havnt been on holiday in 6 years after the metal detectors went off and airport security screamed at the top of their voice and asked me to take my shoes, belt off for investigation as it has metal in it (as do all shoes).

Other people was calling out "OMG look what they are doing to the indian guy"

I'm not even muslim :feelsbadman:

Does this still happen?

airport security isnt racist from my experience (im islamic pakistani). they let me walk through but they did question another ethnic.

When I traveled here to UK I got told that if I'm high because I'm "talking too slow". LOL.

Also I have been searched like this before - asked to remove shoes, belt, etc and stand away from everyone else whilst my bag was also searched. Classic 'ethnic in the west' behaviour to make out like it only happens to them and no one else. Victim mentality.

It has to do with lookism though. When I came here 2 years ago I was clueless about documentation and shit. But I looked extremly young and also decent, the thing is that I was gonna be allowed to enter the country without showing the right documentation or following the protocol that's supposed to be followed. Literally everyone did their best for me to go ahead.

I'm pretty sure that if I looked differently or older they would have been way more strict.

You still have to go through the same controls to get onto the plane, money won't save you here.

Ok if you upgrade to business class, yes you will be treated better on the plane but why should I pay Double or even triple just to be treated like a human being for like 5 hours.
