Tried ck2 for few hours and it sucked hard compared to eu4 or hoi4. When I play sims, I can forge relationships and shit, but when I play paradox games, I want to wage war.

If I was medieval king, I'd give them shit ton of rights and make them attack the nobility. Imagine the army you could gather around those times if you just gave the peasants some rights, back then countries would go to wars with 5k soldiers or something, imagine just showing up with 100k peasants jfl. Go for versatility, build tanks, airplanes and artillery. Your infantry can suck ass if you have some badass artillery to back it up, they'll just tear your enemies. Have some air support, so they'll shred your enemy from the air.
Soviets have a lot of tanks so build anti-tanks etc.

You start in the hundreds year war with England in 1444 and if you win it you gain France as a junior partner in a union, cool alt history, but soon after 1444 the war of roses will start and you will have a big civil war so you need to finish the war with France fast, and its a very hard war

We had few volunteer women too, god damn they were fuckable. Needless to say tho that every dude was simping for them. But yeah, that's how USA tends to fight nowadays, but there'll always be room for regular soldiers too. After all USA got beat by Viet Cong after dropping like 7 million bombs in their jungles.
