But if you already watched the anime idk if I would recommend it, read 20th Century Boys instead.

It has a similar antagonist and what you described what you wanted to happen is exactly what happens. The scale of this manga goes so far, despite starting simple, its crazy.

The manga also basically predictes current world events, crazy how accurate it is looking back jfl.

If anyone read 20thcb and got the vax they missed the point of the manga tbh

I didn't need no manga to understand an experimental vaccine using new genetic engineering tech was a bad thing.

Covid really did separate the calf from the sheep. Anyone who made it without giving in on a major level I respect sadly I don't know many people who did that lol.
