Morality ≠ feelings. Objective wrongness exists independently of guilt. Feeling nothing doesn’t make a horrific act moral; it just means your psychology is misaligned with reality retarded nigger

I don't believe in objective morality

then we’re all homo-abortionists
i dont care about killing babies

of course i would if it was going to negatively impact me

i just dont want other people to have abortions because it promotes hook-up culture which negatively impacts me

i wasn’t being literal

Objective morality can’t exist, and you cannot be “not moral”. Any desicion you make is a reflection of you, ie your OWN morality.

missaligned with YOUR perception, doesn’t make that objective morality. Neither does my perception.

Explain on the second part, I’ll reply to your first question tomorrow. 3 am and too sleepy:3

u can do things that dont align with ur morality
If you do stuff that’s out of your own morality then it was never your morality in the first place. Action dictates your morals, not what you think you would do.

thats just untrue

Most don't have the security to live in an immoral society

The majority just agree on things to make life easier for themselves, you don't have to listen to them.

It’s in your interest

Not necessarily. Doing actions against your own morals is cognitive dissonance.
Normally, if youre doing something out of your morals its usually out of your control.

EXPLAIN OR DNI
morals are logic/reasoning to decide whether or not said action is moral + doing said moral thing

its based upon thoughts and actions

if an objective morality is there, it means we have to follow it. There would be a higher force like God to impose such morality and you would have to be forced to follow it or else.

I suppose you’re right, maybe I should’ve used weak morals. But even so, how could something out of your control force you to make decisions that don’t align with your morals? You’re still the one making the decisions.

If you guaranteed the existence of an objective morality, it is the Truth
You only stand to not gain (or worse, lose) from not abiding by its doctrines

For example, being forced to kill someone
or needing to do this certain thing as a last resort to achieve a goal that'll benefit you or others (I.E needing to rob someone for money to pay rent)

Yes but action is the deciding factor, if you take out action there is only a framework of what your morals are. Thought is only a subjective judgement upon our actions. I.E objective morality can’t exist.

If you’re not willing to suffer for your morals, and the consequences that come with them. Then you have weak morals, if at any discomfort of your morals being challenged you stray away from them, you never stood by them in the first place.

So if it comes down to it, will you die for your morals?
