I remember they would often say "OBAMA!" and want to give me a high five whenever I told em I'm American back before 2016. Then they'd be bewildered when I told them that I hated him. Then after the trade war when all of China hated Trump I'd sometimes say "TRUMP!" and go to give the driver a high five when he'd ask me where I'm from. One dude got mad and said I should have just lied and said I was Canadian.
