EVERYONE knows about looksmaxxing now

ALL of the jokes I hear in school now is all about looksmaxxing, everyone is always making stupid fucking "mewing" joke or "bone smashing" joke, even my own friends who I thought weren't corny make jokes like "Just _ brutal" or "_ is Chad" or something about Marlon, Or Clavicular. I think I'm going to switch friend groups or just have no friends at this point cause it sounds pretty nice, this isn't to say I'm some OG looksmaxxer who's known about it for more than 4 years, in fact I've only known the term for about 3 years, but even three years ago no one that I knew at least in school really knew about looksmaxxing or terms related to it, I don't know what else to say. This post is probably stupid, but I just had to get this off my chest.

Most of the stuff they are talking about is brainrot and cope anyway, apperance improvement has been around since forever, looksmaxxing is just the new term for it in 2021-2022 it was "glow up" now it's looksmax. I have been doing this shit before looksmaxxing and will continue regardless anyway.
It's only natural for looksmaxxing to be popular, everyone wants to look good but not a lot of people do shit.
