Both of my upper canines grew in the wrong spot — they came in right next to my two front teeth. The teeth that are supposed to be my canines are actually baby teeth, and I don’t have any adult teeth under them, so those baby teeth need to be removed.

My orthodontist wants to extract the baby teeth and then move the canines sideways into their correct positions using braces.
After that, the empty spaces next to my front teeth would be filled with dental implants to replace the missing lateral incisors.

Do you think this is this a good idea or a bad one, since I often read on this forum that extractions & implants are frowned upon?
