Hi @RealSurgerymax, I've seen that you know a lot about eye surgery, which is a sensitive topic, so I've seen it before. I wanted to ask you a few questions since you're knowledgeable in this field. I'm researching interpupillary distance (IPD) and its impact on facial aesthetics. Is there anyone who performs IPD surgery for someone with a wide or narrow eye, and I'm wondering if there's any surgical intervention that can safely modify it—not just the interpupillary distance, but also the interpupillary rotation?

I'm also interested in knowing how IPD relates to other parameters such as canthal tilt, midline width, and orbital projection.

Whose audiences are these surgeries targeted? Why would people undergo these surgeries?

Have you seen cases where IPD adjustment has led to noticeable aesthetic improvements?

And what risks might such surgery entail? Is vision perfect afterward or is it blurred? Can I, for example, participate in contact sports such as MMA, boxing, or extreme sports?

I welcome any guidance, experience, or reference you can share. Thank you!

Hi @RealSurgerymax, Is there anyone who performs IPD surgery for someone with a wide or narrow eye,

Yes Giant Team. My team in Istanbul is the ONLY service allowed to provide it with the safe modified way using the guide I invented and patented.

While the boxes can be rotated, theres no need. The globes shouldn't be rotated and they wouldn't be by box rotation anyway. Canthoplasties control the cantal tilt, which have to be done as part of OBO anyway, since the coronal incision disinserts them. We can just reposition them higher than they were originally, if you wish.

You need to have a consult.

I invented the modified way for cosmetic reasons since the risks and evasiveness is massively reduced. (Brain exposed and touched vs not exposed and not touched)

Yes

Double vision is expected for the first few days to few weeks after surgery which readjusts to normal.

Can I, for example, participate in contact sports such as MMA, boxing, or extreme sports?
You shouldn't be participating in MMA without protective gear surgery or no surgery. The surgery wont make a big difference. Your bones can break before or after surgery. Everyone asks this question, but no ones a high level MMA fighter, maybe it's just mental masturbation no one attains. It's weird it's asked so much, it seems like a waste of time to even consider.

Normal contact sports are fine after surgery.

For further info you need to schedule a consult.

Para obtenera más información, debe programar una consulta.
@RealSurgerymax Hahaha, I understand. Share your IG or social media for more information. Are you the only one who performs this type of surgery, or is there a lot of competition in this field? How many people have you performed this type of surgery on? How much would this type of surgery cost? I don't know if you're familiar with the case of Anthony Loffredo, who underwent multiple surgeries to look like an alien. What do you think about this? Is it okay to change yourself so abruptly? What do you think about people who do this? Is it for self-esteem or other reasons? Do you believe in God, and what do you think about this? Do you think marketing and social media have a lot of influence on people's self-esteem? Sorry for so many questions. This is my first block about the advancement of surgeries.

Main IG Page: Giant.Implants
Professional (more boring) page: Surgerymax.CMF
Are you the only one who performs this type of surgery,
Yes, with my partner surgeons who I select and can periodically change.
or is there a lot of competition in this field?
No, there isn't any one else who does or even can.

The guide is invented by me and protected by patent. If I choose not to sell it to them, they can't do it.

Even if someone started today, illegally, they would be starting with 0 experience while I have 3 years and numerous relevant cases, and they would never be as good as the original inventor.

The only alternative is having it done the standard way, with 10x more risk, brain exposed, worse aesthetic results, and costing 3-4x more ($150K+)

How many people have you performed this type of surgery on?
I do the planning and design, which dictates the surgery. I assist in the surgery and a partner plastic surgeon (I work with 3) is the lead surgeon.

More than anyone else in recent time, by far.
How much would this type of surgery cost?
$35-40K in Istanbul, which is the only option right now. Next year we might do it in dubai for $65K.

As previously stated, the standard way by American surgeons will be $150K-$500K (I have seen quotes for $485,000.00 USD)
I don't know if you're familiar with the case of Anthony Loffredo, who underwent multiple surgeries to look like an alien.
Its their decision & right to do whatever they want, but I wouldn't do that or think it looks nice.
What do you think about this? Is it okay to change yourself so abruptly?
No it has to be gradual
Is it for self-esteem or other reasons?
It can be benign in some people, if he's happy and functioning, which is very possible, then its okay.
Some people have BIID (not BDD) which is Body Identity Integrity Disorder. Thats not a real disorder like Schizophrenia or Personality disorders, it's just arbitrary lines drawn in the sand like many psychiatric diagnoses. Often there is a sexual/fetish component to Body Modification. You can see that by looking at their communities (BME)
Do you believe in God, and what do you think about this?
Yes but also free will and natural consequences.
Do you think marketing and social media have a lot of influence on people's self-esteem?
Yes obviously, but how people treat you in real life has a higher impact. Being unattractive to people you find attractive is the main motivation for improvement. Simple as that.
