Hi @RealSurgerymax, I've seen that you know a lot about eye surgery, which is a sensitive topic, so I've seen it before. I wanted to ask you a few questions since you're knowledgeable in this field. I'm researching interpupillary distance (IPD) and its impact on facial aesthetics. Is there anyone who performs IPD surgery for someone with a wide or narrow eye, and I'm wondering if there's any surgical intervention that can safely modify it—not just the interpupillary distance, but also the interpupillary rotation?
I'm also interested in knowing how IPD relates to other parameters such as canthal tilt, midline width, and orbital projection.
Whose audiences are these surgeries targeted? Why would people undergo these surgeries?
Have you seen cases where IPD adjustment has led to noticeable aesthetic improvements?
And what risks might such surgery entail? Is vision perfect afterward or is it blurred? Can I, for example, participate in contact sports such as MMA, boxing, or extreme sports?
I welcome any guidance, experience, or reference you can share. Thank you!
