Hi @RealSurgerymax, I've seen that you know a lot about eye surgery, which is a sensitive topic, so I've seen it before. I wanted to ask you a few questions since you're knowledgeable in this field. I'm researching interpupillary distance (IPD) and its impact on facial aesthetics. Is there anyone who performs IPD surgery for someone with a wide or narrow eye, and I'm wondering if there's any surgical intervention that can safely modify it—not just the interpupillary distance, but also the interpupillary rotation?

I'm also interested in knowing how IPD relates to other parameters such as canthal tilt, midline width, and orbital projection.

Whose audiences are these surgeries targeted? Why would people undergo these surgeries?

Have you seen cases where IPD adjustment has led to noticeable aesthetic improvements?

And what risks might such surgery entail? Is vision perfect afterward or is it blurred? Can I, for example, participate in contact sports such as MMA, boxing, or extreme sports?

I welcome any guidance, experience, or reference you can share. Thank you!

Hi @RealSurgerymax, Is there anyone who performs IPD surgery for someone with a wide or narrow eye,

Yes Giant Team. My team in Istanbul is the ONLY service allowed to provide it with the safe modified way using the guide I invented and patented.

While the boxes can be rotated, theres no need. The globes shouldn't be rotated and they wouldn't be by box rotation anyway. Canthoplasties control the cantal tilt, which have to be done as part of OBO anyway, since the coronal incision disinserts them. We can just reposition them higher than they were originally, if you wish.

You need to have a consult.

I invented the modified way for cosmetic reasons since the risks and evasiveness is massively reduced. (Brain exposed and touched vs not exposed and not touched)

Yes

Double vision is expected for the first few days to few weeks after surgery which readjusts to normal.

Can I, for example, participate in contact sports such as MMA, boxing, or extreme sports?
You shouldn't be participating in MMA without protective gear surgery or no surgery. The surgery wont make a big difference. Your bones can break before or after surgery. Everyone asks this question, but no ones a high level MMA fighter, maybe it's just mental masturbation no one attains. It's weird it's asked so much, it seems like a waste of time to even consider.

Normal contact sports are fine after surgery.
I welcome any guidance, experience, or reference you can share. Thank you!
For further info you need to schedule a consult.

@RealSurgerymax Hahaha, I understand. Share your IG or social media for more information. Are you the only one who performs this type of surgery, or is there a lot of competition in this field? How many people have you performed this type of surgery on? How much would this type of surgery cost? I don't know if you're familiar with the case of Anthony Loffredo, who underwent multiple surgeries to look like an alien. What do you think about this? Is it okay to change yourself so abruptly? What do you think about people who do this? Is it for self-esteem or other reasons? Do you believe in God, and what do you think about this? Do you think marketing and social media have a lot of influence on people's self-esteem? Sorry for so many questions. This is my first block about the advancement of surgeries.

Are you the only one who performs this type of surgery,
Yes, with my partner surgeons who I select and can periodically change.
or is there a lot of competition in this field?
No, there isn't any one else who does or even can.

The guide is invented by me and protected by patent. If I choose not to sell it to them, they can't do it.

Even if someone started today, illegally, they would be starting with 0 experience while I have 3 years and numerous relevant cases, and they would never be as good as the original inventor.

The only alternative is having it done the standard way, with 10x more risk, brain exposed, worse aesthetic results, and costing 3-4x more ($150K+)

How many people have you performed this type of surgery on?
I do the planning and design, which dictates the surgery. I assist in the surgery and a partner plastic surgeon (I work with 3) is the lead surgeon.

More than anyone else in recent time, by far.
How much would this type of surgery cost?
$35-40K in Istanbul, which is the only option right now. Next year we might do it in dubai for $65K.

As previously stated, the standard way by American surgeons will be $150K-$500K (I have seen quotes for $485,000.00 USD)
I don't know if you're familiar with the case of Anthony Loffredo, who underwent multiple surgeries to look like an alien.
Its their decision & right to do whatever they want, but I wouldn't do that or think it looks nice.
What do you think about this? Is it okay to change yourself so abruptly?
No it has to be gradual
Is it for self-esteem or other reasons?
It can be benign in some people, if he's happy and functioning, which is very possible, then its okay.
Some people have BIID (not BDD) which is Body Identity Integrity Disorder. Thats not a real disorder like Schizophrenia or Personality disorders, it's just arbitrary lines drawn in the sand like many psychiatric diagnoses. Often there is a sexual/fetish component to Body Modification. You can see that by looking at their communities (BME)
Do you believe in God, and what do you think about this?
Yes but also free will and natural consequences.
Do you think marketing and social media have a lot of influence on people's self-esteem?
Yes obviously, but how people treat you in real life has a higher impact. Being unattractive to people you find attractive is the main motivation for improvement. Simple as that.

@RealSurgerymax I saw your page and your IG, the content is very interesting, although I personally like Surgerymax.CMF more, but I feel that it lacks more activity and a physical person who connects with the public, it is advice, I had never seen a social network that was about surgeries like Gian.implants, I suppose it is an innovation. Regarding God, I think that we should never alter him because he brought us just as we are, but as you say, each one is the owner of their actions, for example, I was always physically well, I was never attractive but I was not ugly either, although I never gave importance to the physical, more to the personality that made me more attractive, I was always more about personality than physical, of course I do not want to say that you are careless, everything I achieved was because of what is inside me, although what you say is true, people can be mean to others because of their physical appearance because I have seen it, but also those who are attractive are approached out of interest and that is how it is, ahh, no part of society is rotten but that is how this world works, there is no need clinging to material things because when you die you won't take anything you have today with you and I've been approached by people out of physical interest but I've also been approached by people without any interest and I get rid of those bad people and I've met people who physically don't attract my attention but when they get to know me they say oh wow I've always said that changes always start from the inside and then they reflect on the outside and then you work hard and I've seen people who may be a 4.5/10 or worse but have self-esteem that seems incredible haha, excuse me I tried to look up your name but I can't find it. Are you the Dr.? Anyway, let me introduce myself. I'm Thomas Bradd. When you say the guide is your own invention, it's because you invented this system. I'm assuming it's because you studied the subject extensively. Tell me a little about your background. Did you learn as you went along from recognized experts or were you independent from the beginning in everything? And how was the beginning of your studies? How long did it take you to study? Did you learn much more from theory than from practice? What did you learn from practice other than theory? How was your attention to this world that didn't exist at the time? What were your first or first surgeries involving the orbital area like? How did they turn out? When you say you have three years of experience, are you referring only to the area of interpupillary distance or also to other areas related to the world of surgery? Is there anything else you do that no one else does besides the orbital area? Do you already have previous training in maxillofacial and ophthalmic plastic surgery? Are you self-taught or have you taken some kind of short or advanced course? How many cases have you done so far? More than 50 or 100, I don't know, and in which areas of surgery, or just orbital surgery. Why is your clinic in Istanbul? Are you from there? Because, for example, you didn't do it in the US, China, or Germany. I don't know why it was in Istanbul. Have you had good documented results or a low or zero complication rate? Have you had patients who underwent highly complex surgeries and had successful outcomes? Have you had patients who were at risk of side effects but did not experience them due to a guarded prognosis and have progressed without adverse events? Have you undergone or performed facial cosmetic surgery techniques on patients and used modern variants such as vertical vector or preservation techniques, or do you use innovative or validated techniques? Do you have any publications or documented cases? Why or why not? What technique do you use? What are the most requested or most common surgeries? You operate within a formal medical system with official licenses from the Ministry of Health and operate in affiliation with accredited hospitals or clinics, under medical and legal supervision. Have you undergone any of these surgeries? Why or why not? Do you consider yourself a master of orbital surgery or other areas of surgery, or because you feel you still lack experience and continue to improve? How many years do you think it takes to master this skill perfectly? What are the optimal ages for surgery? Can a minor have it or not? Can an 80-year-old undergo one of these surgeries? Who can and can't undergo these surgeries?

I hope that if he responds, this would be another step for humanity towards advances in surgery and many people would know how quickly everything is advancing, that would be my blog.

Okay, you're not going to answer much text, so it would be better if you summarize what I told you in something short and answer me.
