Contracting the abs will prevent anterior pelvic tilt and protect your abs and expose then less, chin tucking will hide the neck mode and contract it thus protecting it, and a slight internal rotation of the shoulders will put your arms in a better position to readily defend your groin, abdomen and neck and make your frame wider.
