Face flatness

Why does my face *look* flat, even though it isn't? I know that lightning affects how the shadows drops, but when you look into the pictures of other gl people, they always have depth in the face. I do too, for sure, but it *looks* flat.
Guess easiest way to create contours is to blast lightning from above and lower intensity from the front, so that there'd be an appearance of shadows caused by the light that drops over your face.
Or is it all just makeup/contouring?
Seems like there's something missing whenever I make pictures, as I get no depth perception in the face, except on retarded shit like nasolabials

I'm not though. Shadow profile aesthetically actually looks very nice and actual profile isn't bad either.

Lots of curvature is going on and around, with depth that is. But frontally looks flat af. Just need to understand it well, so that you can manipulate pictures to produce the depth that is existent, instead of flat look.

I'm not. I was at several psychologists/psychiatrists and they told me I'm ok. I can speak with girls np, I don't have anxieties, I'm not afraid of them(girls) and the only fear I have is that of dying alone. I'm introverted though. And a bit boring.
