It just stains the outside dead layer of your skin it honestly does look like a legit tan if you get a non shit brand. Mine from Walmart looked pretty fucking sexy when I did it. Definitely better than taking melanotan 2 and getting moles, or frying yourself in the sun and nuking collagen when you could just lather on some shit and wear sunscreen and have great skin for life whilst also looking tan.
