what mogs for augmentating for the zygo area/midface in terms of giving it a natural forward grown look?

most of the people who recommend implants saying bone mogs fat/filler have never even gotten an implant before (and i bet you those who comment "IMPLANT" in this thread will also have zero implant experience either. as i've said before:

"implants often tend to turn out quite uncanny, don't age well, require revisions very often (and the skin is left sagging with every revision/removal), can show through skin especially as you age and probably need to be replaced with age, also cause numbness/nerve issues/damage.

i believe in implants only in severe cases.. otherwise i hear fat transfer/graft is the better solution, or just don't do anything... what do you think?"

on paper implants sound 100% like the answer, but the reality is way more complicated and leads me to believe i should either get fat grafts to my cheekbones or just don't do anything. i'd rather do NOTHING than the WRONG THING personally.

what do you guys think? am i being a retard and implants are the only way or are fat grafts a heavily underrated and far SAFER, more CONSISTENTLY good for your appearance, and the more REALISTIC looksmax?

in the zygo region contour is the most important factor. i think fat would most likely give quite a puffy result. from first hand user experiences on this forum, it seems like fat grafts only seem to work when volume is the only consideration, i.e under eye hollowing, or upper eyelid hollowing.

fillers are the superior method to provide contour. only downside is, this will decrease over time. but imo, with an injector who knows what they’re doing this will last a lot longer than most think

i probably would get implants for this region eventually, but nobody is fully confident about what a specific design ends up doing to the face. the great eppley said recently he expects a 40% revision rate and it’s an iterative process

i am going to solve this problem eventually, but there’s my two cents for now

this forum has created its own laws of physics of osteotomies first, then implants, peek/titanium is the superior material etc. that sound correct in principle, but are in no way definitive and, in many cases are purely incorrect. i think users simply have fallen for the human instinct for their face to be their own bone, and to avoid foreign bodies in their face. this does not always produce superior aesthetics, because of how far back innovation in the field is.
