ncbi.nlm.nih.gov: Individuals engaged in a general fitness program can typically meet macronutrient needs by consuming a normal diet consisting of 45-55% carbohydrates (3-5g/kg/day), 10-15% proteins (0.81g/kg/day) and 25-35% fats (0.5-1.5g/kg/day).
Few notes:
- I've seen lot of references to Proteins and its influence on skin and hair health.
- If someone is losing weight, and lowers each macronutrient intake by eg 30% (to lower calorific intake), then the mentioned above proteins will be low/insufficient, resulting in shitty skin/hair/hairloss/etc.
Or would you prioritize something else entirely?
