look at the first few decades of the 20th century, there is no denying a STRONG late 19th century vibe to them. do the 1900s and 1910s look like the real 20th century to you? they don't to me. we are still living in the 20th century just with updated technology. the real 21st century has yet to arrive. the world of 1999 would be completely alien to someone from 1919, just as 2099 will be to us, if we live that long. we don't know what the real 21st century will look like, because were still living in the 20th century holdover era.

I disagree, we are different from the 20th century because of the rapid increase in technology.

I think advances in technology used by the masses is slowing down...

We have smartphones that sit in our hand, last for over a day and have a touch screen.
Can't really improve much more on them can we? Perhaps make them lighter thinner and faster.
