This is my first thread so bear with me. As the title reads this is my guide on how you can use Films to socialize all from Girls favorite movies to some niche u can larp (if thats ur thing) i dont larp btw everything i reccomend is smth i have watched
First why even watch films.
Now that i shittily explained the purity and true art of films lets get into the films everybody has seen that you need to see if you want to discuss films with anyone.

This is legit just the bare minimum, so many movies i could have included but just watch these, now over to what i personally think is bullshit

well thats my first and probably worst guide lol, just wanted to share some things about films since i love them so much

First why even watch films.
Films are the purest form of art, its where the great cornerstones of art come into play to create a real masterpiece. It combines the great tunes of music, the the origanal piece of art which is paintins, that move now. It also includes the words of a book spoken by actors who could play any role.
Also i love how films are subjective and anything can be a masterpiece in the right eyes, unless its cat in the hat, go watch barry lyndon jfl

1. Interstellar
Everyone has seen interstellar and it's everyones favorite movie, not even christopher nolans best movie but let's not get into that.
2. Godfather 1 & 2
Dare i say the peak of gangster/mafia movies, some basic reccomendations if you liked these (everyone likes these) Goodfellas, scarface, city of god.
3. Star Wars & LOTR trilogy
The original star wars trilogy is probably the best sci-fi trilogy ever while LOTR is one of the best trilogies OAT, (The Human condition mogs)
4. Anything spielberg
jaws, jurassic park, indiane jonas, ET and such, everybody knows these.

Any marvel/Avengers movie is straight dog shit, they produce so much slop and last time i saw one was endgame which isnt even that good. Just pls dont watch this shit, unless u want a marvel foid who never read the comics. (Lwk larp from me i only read DC and Image comics)
2. Pirates of the caribbean
You can watch the first one but just don't watch any of them
3. Basically any huge franchise jfl
They all just make films for the money so not really worth investing time in this slop

2. Lawrence of arabia
i watched this in cinemas this year and its absolutely stunning 228 minutes
3. The hateful eight
tarantino is pretty controversial but this movie is actually worth a watch 188 minutes

5. Magnolia
Second best PTA movie with an amazing ending 189 minutes

i feel kind of weird reccomending it to everyone but you have to see it before judging
