Instead of cold approaching in the traditional sense, try joining clubs or activities that naturally makes you meet people. If you're in college join a few clubs that may not be the most interesting, but that a lot of people/chicks belong to. If you don't belong to a college , there are other ways to do this but basically you wanna put yourself in situations where girls are (a club/bar could work, and is probably the second best option for meeting women) but it's best if it's more natural. You still wanna make the first move and approach, but it's best to put yourself in a situation where it seems somewhat natural. But if you can't find an activity like this, bars and clubs are better than apps and will lead to more successful attempts.

You gotta make a plan and go out more if there isn't enough. Eventually you will meet a girl that digs you. In any big city, there are bars and clubs with girls all over. Id say in my city for example if I go to the right street that has bars and clubs, there are hundreds of girls there. But you wanna find a more low-key place where there are girls, but not too many cause the places with the most people have the most competition and the most selective girls. So find a less populated dive bar sorta place with a good amount of chicks. You just gotta do your research essentially

When I was a degenerate the best method for meeting girls was going to house parties and approaching them there, or going to bars and clubs and doing it. I had a lot of friends with me, which makes you more likely to pick up girls cause they like well connected men (especially the type of girls you meet at bars and clubs). But you can find a spot that's more low-key and that's where you need to make moves. You will eventually need to be okay with making a first move and getting rejected.

You just gotta get over it somehow. It's easier said than done, but there are people out there you have probably met that just eat rejection like a beast and they always do the best with girls. Girls these days want guys to approach despite what people say (as long as you're properly reading body language and truly know when to stop or not approach any longer).
