Finasteride dosing

i just got my finasteride and its in 5mg per pill so should i take it once every 5 days or do i have to cut it into 4 and take the 1.25mg dose everyday

half life is short for fin so taking 5mg every 5 days probably won't do much.. just cut it up(buy a pill cutter it's like a buck or two itll make your life easy). make sure it's out of the sun once you do since the protective coating is gone.. the dosages won't be precise either way. the ingredient is usually not spreado ut that evenly.
